Welcome to my web site.
I have been part of the IT industry since the late 1960's when a warehouse was required to provide the power of the average wrist watch today.
After starting in the Civil Service (MOD Bicester) as a PLAN Programmer (1 step up from machine code and similar to IBM's Assembler) I progressed to Systems Analysis, Design and Management. Joining a dynamic software house which specialised in on-line business solutions (cutting edge then) in the late 1970's expanded my skills resulting in managing prestigious projects in France and Hong Kong.
In 1985 I joined the freelance market to broaden my knowledge and gain experience in new markets. Initially specialising in Quality Assurance, I completed projects for BACS, WH Smith, ICL, Unysis, H.M. Customs & Excise and NatWest Bank. Whilst with ICL, I completed a years Project Management for British American Insurance based in Jamaica. Further projects followed for Lombard General Insurance, CSC & Associates, Anodas Ltd and the Royal Bank of Scotland. One of these projects involved a 6 month tour in China setting up an on-line insurance quotation system using local staff. This was a very challenging but successful project.
I am now based in the north east of Scotland concentrating on supplying web based solutions to small and medium businesses and repairing and supplying PC's and laptops. I visit your home or business at your convenience. Photographic services are available for insertion into web sites. I will not only supply your new system, but will install it, and transfer over your data, emails, and settings.
